On Premise Business Development Manager – Southern Florida

Location: Based in Miami-Dade County (responsible for Southern Florida territory)

Job Description:

Kelvin Slush Co. is seeking a driven, self-starting, and experienced On Premise Business Development Manager to expand and support our presence across Southern Florida. This position is ideal for a passionate and energetic sales professional with deep experience in the alcoholic beverage industry, specifically in on-premise channel development.

This individual will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing relationships with bars, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment venues, driving placement and velocity of Kelvin’s organic frozen cocktail products. The role is remote but requires regular in-person visits throughout Southern Florida including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and surrounding areas.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Development & Account Growth

    • Acquire new on-premise accounts and grow existing relationships

    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across Southern Florida

    • Ensure strong product presence, menu placement, and staff engagement at all accounts 

  • Distributor Management

    • Collaborate with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits to grow sales and execute initiatives

    • Conduct regular field work with distributor sales reps to drive account activation and support

    • Attend and participate in key distributor meetings and trainings

  • Sales Strategy & Execution

    • Manage sales pipeline using CRM (e.g., Salesforce or GreatVines); maintain up-to-date records of leads, sales activities, and performance

    • Achieve monthly placement and depletion goals

    • Assist in local market planning, events, and product launches

  • Account Support

    • Provide ongoing training and education to bar staff and management

    • Monitor sell-through, reorders, and promotional success

    • Track key performance indicators such as velocity, POD growth, and retention

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to support product visibility and inventory planning

    • Relay market feedback to headquarters and contribute to product and promotional strategies

  • Frozen Machine Knowledge

    • Occasional installation and repairs of various frozen drink machines

    • Working at the account level to determine the right machine for the space

    • Determining if an account would qualify for a machine lease based on potential volume

  Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of on-premise sales experience; alcoholic beverage industry experience required

  • Proven ability to grow territory sales and manage distributor relationships

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high-volume workload

  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with a strong desire to win

  • Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, GreatVines, or similar) is strongly preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Must be based in Miami-Dade County with willingness and ability to travel throughout Southern Florida

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
